A very warm welcome awaits you at this 18th Century house which lies on the edge of Snowdonia National Park and the foothills of Cader Idris, 5 minutes walk to a beautiful, blue flag beach. Einion House has spectacular views, sensational sunsets, across Cardigan Bay to the Rhinogs, and the Llyn peninsular. All our rooms are ensuite and most rooms have a sea view. Einion House is also within easy reach of the amenities of Fairbourne village and the Blue Pool featured in BBC's Secret Britian
Visit the Blue Lake, with it's magnificent views over Fairbourne and Cardigan Bay to the Rhinogs and Llyn Peninsular, take a gentle stroll along the beach to Penrhyn Point, or a longer walk to Barmouth bridge, featured on BBC’s “Coast to Coast”, across the most beautiful Mawddach Estuary to Barmouth; or join the Mawddach trail, featured on Julia Bradbury’s “Railway walks” to Dolgellau. Fairbourne also boasts its own narrow gauge railway. Other attractions include Port Merion, The Centre for Alternative Technology, Electric Mountain, Coed y Brenin Biking centre, Harlech Castle, King Arthur's Labyrinth, Tal-y-Llyn Railway and Bala Railway. Alternatively we are close to good cycling routes, near an RSPB Reserve, good fishing locations and pony-trekking.

All bedrooms are on the first and second floors (between 14 and 28 stairs with no lift). Staircases have banisters on one side and handrails on the other for the majority of their length. Being an old property, the corridors are quite narrow (minimum 70 centimetres i.e. 27 inches). Safety notices and bar Tariffs are in large print. All bedrooms have bath/shower rooms en-suite with no intervening steps. There is a good colour contrast between floors, walls and doors. Lighting in corridors is plentiful but diffused.
