We offer a warm Welsh welcome at Penmaendyfi, a 1704 Manor House with magnificent views of the river Dyfi and the surrounding countryside. All rooms are fully central heated, have colour TV's, hairdryers and tea & coffee making facilities. We have a solar heated outdoor swimming pool which guests are welcome to use during the summer months. Honesty Bar.

From Machynlleth go over Dyfi Bridge and immediately turn left onto the A493 heading for Aberdyfi. Travel through the village of Pennal, down a long straight stretch of road to "Cwrt". In Cwrt turn left and follow signs for Penmaendyfi.

  • Penmaendyfi is 4 miles away from the nearest train station and half a mile from the nearest bus stop. Penmaendyfi was built in 1704 with large blue sawn cut stones Our ground floor double bedded suite has direct external access Via ramp and one sided hand rail and has its own parking bay right outside Our ground floor room has an en-suite shower room wheel in shower and transfer space and toilet. Mobile phone network - Orange and O2 work here (vodaphone has limited coverage) All bedrooms have telephones (Please ask if you would like your line opened) Main door can be reached by three steps or ramp with one sided hand rail. Ground floor level throughout Reception has a large stone fire place and blue slate flooring The lounge and breakfast room have original oak flooring The remainder of our accommodation has two bedrooms on the 1st floor and four on the second floor these are accessed via a wide staircase (21 steps to 1st floor further 19 to top floor). All rooms have remote control TVs Accessible unisex toilet with baby change facilities is to the left of the main entrance with a veranda roof. Owner's large car park.
